This recruitment will fill 2,030 positions for Sepoys and Constables in the Odisha Police. Initially, there were 1,360 vacancies announced, but the number increased by 720 later.
The application deadline has been extended multiple times. It was originally set for October 13 but was first moved to October 30 due to the puja vacation. Following a court order, the final date is now November 15.
Some candidates filed a petition in the High Court for age limit relaxation. The SSB allowed them to submit forms from November 1 to 7. However, the court later extended the application deadline to November 15.
