The Gautam Buddha University started a 10-day research methodology course on December 3, 2024. This course will continue until December 13, 2024, and is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in New Delhi.

The course was officially opened on December 3, 2024, with many important guests in attendance. This event marked the beginning of an important learning opportunity for scholars.

Many notable figures were present, including Prof. R.K. Sinha, the Vice Chancellor of GBU, Prof. D.K. Madaan from Punjabi University, Prof. N.P. Melkania, Dr. Indu Uprety, Prof. Shweta Anand, and Dr. Varsha Dixit.

The main goal of the course is to focus on how to use AI in research, as stated in a press release from the university. This is a step towards modernizing research practices.

During the event, Prof. Shweta Anand, the Course Director, mentioned that this course is a great chance for scholars to improve their research skills and learn about advanced methods.

“We are excited to gather experts from all over India to share their knowledge,” she added, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in learning.

Prof. D.K. Madaan also spoke about the significance of GDP in the Indian economy, the need for sustainable development, and how research plays a vital role in shaping policies.
