Bihar’s Education Department has shared the counselling dates for various teacher positions.
The Bihar Education Department has announced the counselling schedule for candidates who passed the Head Teacher, Head Master, TRE 3.0, and Sakshamta 2 exams. A total of 147,534 candidates are eligible to participate in this counselling round.
According to the official announcement, 36,947 candidates qualified for Head Teacher positions, while 5,971 candidates qualified for Head Master roles. The counselling is set to take place from December 9 to December 13, 2024. For Head Teacher posts, counselling will occur in the district where the teacher is posted, and for Head Master posts, it will be at the headquarters of the division.
For School Teachers (classes 1-5) under TRE 3.0, 21,911 candidates have qualified, and for School Teachers (classes 6-8), 16,989 candidates have passed. The tentative counselling dates for these positions are from December 16 to December 20, 2024, and will be held at the district assigned by BPSC.
Additionally, 65,716 candidates passed the BSEB Sakshamta 2 examination. Their counselling will take place from December 23 to December 31, 2024, at the district where the teacher is posted.
At the counselling venues, counters will be set up to accommodate 50-60 candidates each day. The number of counters will depend on the number of candidates attending and the specific day of counselling.
